We wish we were making this up. Sadly, people really are this dim-witted when it comes to escaping the punishment of the law. Last month, Police were performing drug checks at Maroochydore Music Festival when one of their dogs detected drugs from a 21-year-old attendee. Upon finding the Ziploc bag of MDMA, they saw that the package had the exact substance name on it…and the attendee’s full name, address, and phone number. Since there’s pretty much nothing else you need to prove the drugs belong to him, he was arrested and will appear in front of a judge later this month. The lesson here…should be obvious: don’t put your name (or anything that relates to you) on your drugs.
