Gesaffelstein, aka French producer Mike Lévy, is back with a new song. “Reset” is his first release for his new label Columbia Records. Below, watch the music video, which features what appears to be a Tekashi 6ix9ine look-alike.

I really dig Gesaffelstein’s new single and the official music video that came with it. The video represents his frustration with Hip-Hop and how he wants to press the “reset” button on it. Everyone has a gimmick in rap today but no actual lyrical talent. Hint why we see doppelganger’s on Tekashi 6ix9ine, Lil Peep, MGK, and a few other rappers with gimmicks.

Lévy’s solo debut, Aleph, arrived in 2013—the same year he contributed to Kanye West’s Yeezus. He made the original soundtrack for the film Maryland in 2015. And earlier this year, Lévy worked with the Weeknd on My Dear Melancholy,.
