GRiZ hasn’t run out of gasoline to fuel the remaining vibes of the summer. As a matter of fact, his third Bangers EP is the most bangin’ one yet. “As we get ready to head out on tour next week, I wanted to give you guys these tunes that have been my secret weapons all summer long,” the man himself says. “I hope you fall in love with them, and I can’t wait to share their energy with you in person <3 you’ve really gotta be there to feel it.”

The EP kicks off with a head bopper in the form of I Like That featuring the vocal stylings of Kayla Jasmine. The sassy hook and verses she provides is a dope compliment to the crazy bassline going on. The energy rolls into a grittier vibe with supadupakulavibe(thats “super duper cooler vibe” in the King’s English). In a matter of 3 minutes, the combination of sounds he employs will have you hyped for whatever activity you’re about to embark on. The EP ends on a funky note with Now Till Infinity and it’s quirky musical stylings.

Griz recently teamed up with Dr. Lupo to do something amazing for the community after coming out of the closet himself and vowing to help anyone else who may be in his situation. The duo, along with top donors who were invited to play each hour, fundraised over $18,000 for the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people, The Trevor Project. With the stream featured on the homepage of Twitch, they attracted 280,000 views to the four-hour fundraiser and engaged with donors through livestream fundraising platform, Tiltify. This is only one of the several initiatives both have put forward to help the community.
