Insomniac’s notorious hardstyle brand, Basscon, is set to return to Electric Daisy Carnival for three nights of heavy-hitting performances and mind-blowing special effects in celebration of the 21st annual event. The iconic wasteLAND stage continues to draw the genre’s most respected artists and hardstyle’s largest audiences, traveling from around the world to attend EDC Las Vegas each year. This June, Basscon will introduce fans to a new scenic destination and theme, bringing a massive rendition of the highly anticipated Egyptian design from Wasteland’s 3rd annual SoCal show to the Speedway. Experience the harder style of dance music in the wasteLAND stage preview below.

Last year, Basscon transported EDC Las Vegas attendees to the city of San Francisco with its 250-foot wide by 73-foot tall stage design of the Golden Gate Bridge. A massive crab descended upon the structure, amidst dozens of washed up sea containers, shipwrecked boats, and surging pyrotechnics. For the first time ever, wasteLAND synched the hardstyle sounds from the stage to the visually stunning fireworks displays above the festival, for ten minutes of spectacular sensory overload. Fans witnessed legendary performances from renowned names like Brennan Heart, Angerfist, DJ Isaac, Da Tweekaz, Coone, and more.
