If anyone ever tells you that EDC doesn’t think about the music, please direct them to the below announcement. This year sees the most curation of art cars in the festival’s history, and while many of the artists are local and independent producers, there are plenty of heavy hitters that are sure to crowd the ground around these cars as well.
The Boombox Art Car is entirely curated by LA’s Cats & Boots records and will feature sets from Flashgang, Moni, Brandon Elliot, Wood Holly and plenty more. Returning for its second year, the Kalliope Art Car will be hosted by Desert Hearts on June 16th and Monstercat the next day with sets from Tokyo Machine, F*ck Salt B2B Botnek, Unlike Pluto and Gareth Emery amongst many others. Beyond even that is the Wide Awake Art Car on Sunday with curation from Psytribe and the brand new Parliament Art Car on Saturday, curated by Trap Nation. There’s still the lineup from LA’s Brownies & Lemonade to go, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store. For now, pick your must-sees from the lineups below.
