The man’s filled most roles in the industry that takes many years to fulfill. Starting out as a radio DJ on San Francisco’sKTS/LIVE 105 to curating dance music charts on Billboard, Dave Matthias cut his teeth early in his career handling press, media and radio before churning out a successful label project and his own DJ/Producer career. His remix of Armand Van Helden’s ‘The Funk Phenomena’ was the first domino to fall into a successful career as an artist.
Dave Matthias now teams up with Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, Makeba, on his brand new single ‘Madness and The Dark’. You may recognize Makeba’s name on her works with Beyoncé, J-Lo, Rihanna, David Guetta, and Kelis just to name a few. The single has already hit the charts at #2 on Billboard and received edit and remix treatment from the likes of Crazibiza, Dirty Werk, Sted-E & Hybrid Heights.
