Yesterday, Kaskade and deadmau5 made some suspicious posts on their Instagram accounts. Both artists uploaded three teal and black squares, without any captions. Speculations arose. A new tour? A collaboration? No one had any clue.
Today, the two artists put an end to the day of wonder and posted what we all wanted to know – and it was better than we could have imagined. It is both a collab and a new single coming out. The collaborative project is called Kx5. The three photos are the banner of their Twitter account, which can be an album cover or something else down the line. The new single is called “Escape” featuring Hayla. The official release date will be on Thursday, March 10th and you can click here to pre-save it now.
Both Kaskade and Deadmau5 are on IG live talking about their project and were asked what’s their first show together? And the mau5 said “Las Vegas”, which is believed to be EDC Las Vegas.
