When Ryan Raddon embarked on his”Kaskade Redux” tour for the first time, he turned into a DJ who’d regularly rock crowds roughly 400 times smaller than his average headline festival audiences. There is a method to this madness; in order to express the incredibly chill vibes of his old work, Raddon not only played out a slew of original mixes of tracks like “Steppin Out,” he also made sure to inject a load of current Deep House favorites, as well as a few “Redux” versions of newer songs like “Atmosphere.” This all culminated in Raddon’s 5 track EP two years ago, with newly written songs that could easily fit with his old catalog like “Ain’t Gotta Lie.” The time has come for the second installment of Redux, and the best news is you don’t have to wait too long for it.

This Friday, September 1st, Kaskade’s “#REDUX Ep. 002” EP will drop. To be released via his own Arkade imprint, the EP cover looks to be a second version Kaskade’s face turned into word art. While there’s no word on the tracklist quite yet, we’re not even concerned about waiting a week to hear some brand new jams. With this, we may even be treated to a run of small shows in several cities.

Stay tuned for the release of the full EP and look out for more nuggets of information in the coming week.
