When Ryan Raddon embarked on hisâKaskade Reduxâ tour for the first time, he turned into a DJ whoâd regularly rock crowds roughly 400 times smaller than his average headline festival audiences. There is a method to this madness; in order to express the incredibly chill vibes of his old work, Raddon not only played out a slew of original mixes of tracks like âSteppin Out,â he also made sure to inject a load of current Deep House favorites, as well as a few âReduxâ versions of newer songs like âAtmosphere.â This all culminated in Raddonâs 5 track EP two years ago, with newly written songs that could easily fit with his old catalog like âAinât Gotta Lie.â The time has come for the second installment of Redux, and the best news is you donât have to wait too long for it.
This Friday, September 1st, Kaskadeâs â#REDUX Ep. 002â EP will drop. To be released via his own Arkade imprint, the EP cover looks to be a second version Kaskadeâs face turned into word art. While thereâs no word on the tracklist quite yet, weâre not even concerned about waiting a week to hear some brand new jams. With this, we may even be treated to a run of small shows in several cities.
Stay tuned for the release of the full EP and look out for more nuggets of information in the coming week.
