Last night, news surfaced that Lil Peep has passed away at age 21. Early reports suggest that Peep has overdosed from Xanax and Fentanyl pills.
The singer, rapper and songwriter is one of the key contributors of today’s popular emo-rap sound. The New York-born artist is a member of GOTHBOICLIQUE alongside Lil Tracy, Mackned, Cold Hart and others. He has garnered millions of views on streaming and video platforms for his songs “White Wine”, “Benz Truck,” “Awful Things,” “The Way I See Things” and more.
His death affected millions of fans and musicians around the world as they sent out their thoughts via Twitter on Peep’s passing. Below is what they had to say…
I cant even believe this. We were just talking last week about working on a song together and now you’re gone. You will be missed, R.I.P. @Lilpeep 😪 pic.twitter.com/GQRJe8Vck0

Seriously such a joke to see low life’s talk shit at a time like this. We can hate the drug and the affect that it has on others but don’t dis credit the vision and talent that human being had.

peep was a head of his time musically. being able to combine more styles of music than most in hip hop in my opinion. if you dont like it then just unfollow me.

Can’t believe the internet is mad & bitching about this tragedy being talked about as a drug abuse issue. Stop being so selfish. LilPeeps’s death can be more than a celebration of his music & talent. It can help raise awareness, prevent suffering, and bring healing to many

depression is real.
addiction is real.
pay attention to your friends.
pay attention to your family.
pay attention to your lover.
they may be telling you something that will save your life if you listen.
always sad to see addiction consume the young. RIP https://t.co/ss9ntqFABd— Tommie Sunshine 😎✊ (@tommiesunshine) November 16, 2017
