States around the country have implemented reopening planes varying in restrictions. Florida, a loose restriction hotspot state since the rise of the pandemic, has now lifted all COVID-19 restrictions in the state. Bars, restaurants, and clubs are cleared to open. In Miami, this means the return of Space.

Club Space, the home to 24-hour nonstop music shows with different levels of experience, is reopening this weekend. It won’t be the same as the Space we all know and love – unfortunately, this pandemic means that can’t happen just yet – but it will be open.

There are some major differences to note. Since crowded dance parties are not COVID friendly, Space has implemented guidelines to stay safe. Space will offer table service only, and it has to be by reservation. There will be no bar service, and everything is brought to your table instead. As is the new normal, and face coverings will be required when entering the venue or while going to the bathroom. They will not be required at your reserved table, similar to restaurants. Along with new sanitation protocols and social distancing guidelines, the new Space Miami setup will feature music but not all night — the party will end at 11pm.

This weekend, The Martinez Brothers are set to play, and Maceo Plex next weekend and Claptone the weekend after. Tickets are already sold out for this weekend, so if you want to hit up Space in the next few weeks, we would suggest acting now.
