Movement Detroit made the difficult decision to postpone their festival until after the dust from Coronavirus concerns settle. “Postponing was certainly not an easy decision but it is the responsible decision, ” reads the official statement. The Detroit festival will now take place September 11, 12 and 13th. The festival will allow ticket holders to decide between this event or next year’s Movement. People may be upset to find that the festival is not offering refunds, but they explain their reasoning in the letter. “Your financial contribution literally creates this event,” the statement reads. The decision to postpone the event was a difficult one for all involved, especially because they initially planned to continue with the originally scheduled weekend.

Those with tickets for this year’s Movement will receive an email with more details on their options on March 27th. To ensure the event can happen in September, people are encouraged to stay home.
