If you were one of the few that watched we are you friends then you were probably disappointed in how little it seemed to understand EDM and the culture. Thankfully Netflix is releasing an original movie that looks a lot more promising. XOXO is a comedy about 6 strangers who are en route to one of the biggest festivals in the country and one of them being an up and coming DJ who gets a chance to play a set during it. Sarah Hyland, Graham Philips and Chris D’Elia lead a talented cast of actors. Netflix also made the genius move of using top artists such as Dada Life, Skrillex and Diplo for the film’s soundtrack. The first single “Make Me Feel” by Galantis and East & Young will be available tomorrow and the rest of the album will follow with the release of the movie on aug. 26th.
