Vegas needs more recognition as a spot for fringe electronic music collectives. You may think of widely successful families like Mad Decent, OWSLA, and Fools Gold and probably wonder where those same vibes that originate from Sin City. Enter Skyfall Music: headed by nationally recognized trio Splitbreed, this group waves the flag for dope producers and rappers in the Vegas scene, essentially acting as one of the most prime places for them to grow as producers, rappers, or a mix of the two.
The chance for all of them to show off their skills is this coming Tuesday at a special Skyfall takeover of Nickel Beer Night in DTLV’s Beauty Bar. The night is hosted by Splitbreed themselves after wrapping up their run of shows at Warped Tour and will feature Alchemy, Daniel Ave, Cream, and many more.
In terms of the atmosphere that they want to use to promote their label, Nickel Beer Night couldn’t fit better; while holding 4 brews at a time, people become encouraged to share with friends, family, and strangers.
