We’ve got another case of Twitter beef, well sort-of. As Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas approaches and everyone’s anticipation is kicking in for the lineup announcement, it’s only one month before the road to EDC begins. Some DJ’s like Laidback Luke have announced via Twitter that he, unfortunately, won’t be playing EDC Vegas this year but Deadmau5 took a different approach, as usual. This time, Pasquale Rotella, founder of Insomniac events and EDC, commented. Looks like he had quite a bit to say.

Deadmau5 voiced his opinion, how he feels about music festivals, then went back into hibernation/work mode, where he will somehow “figure it out on my own terms as I usually do.” We hope to see Deadmau5 at a festival soon, actually very soon says his upcoming calendar tour dates.

Both Laidback Luke and Deadmau5 were not booked for EDC Vegas so that might give clues that Pasquale is mixing up his lineup and replacing more mainstream acts with new talent as he’s recently been doing at his other festivals and events.

Looks like Ultra throwing a bit of shade too. Guess thats one way to promote Deadmau5 is playing around the world at your festivals.
