Pasquale Rotella recently informed Insomniac fans that Electric Daisy Carnival has officially moved to 2021, despite several attempts to accommodate COVID-19 guidelines. Sadly, that same postponement will be in effect for the rest of Insomniacā€™s festival lineup, which includes Escape: Psycho Circus, EDC Orlando, Nocturnal Wonderland, Dreamstate SoCal, and Countdown NYE.

In his announcement, though, Rotella promises fans that these shows will be bigger and better than we can imagine.

While this year has been full of ups and downs, itā€™s something Iā€™ve found a lot of positivity & excitement in. This extra time to plan is going to allow us to make our 2021 events the best weā€™ve ever had both creatively & logistically.

It’s unfortunate these amazing Fall festivals were forced to cancel but if it means all of us gathering together once again on the dance-floor under better circumstances than so be it. We’re all looking forward to seeing what better things 2021 brings to the table. I know all of you ravers are ready to dust your dancing shoes off. We’ll be there soon, just wait on it.

For those who bought tickets to Escape: Psycho Circus your ticket will be valid for the 2021 festival. As a special thank you to VIP ticket holders, Insomniac will be offering you a free VIP companion pass so you may bring a fellow raver with you. For those who want their money back, refund requests will be accepted until September 11th.

Insomniac TV will continue streaming the several artists shows that they have lined up. This weekend, Maraud headlines a Bassrush themed stream, followed by Lee Fossā€™s Factory 93 takeover with John Summit and J.Worra tomorrow night. Next weekend sees the virtual return of LA day club Day Trip, with a weekend-long batch of streams from other house artists. This is only the tip of the iceberg: check out all the residencies and shows to come on insomniac.com

State of 2020 UpdatešŸ‘ā€šŸ—ØāœØ I hope everyone is staying safe & healthy! As you might have imagined after we moved EDC Las Vegas to May 2021, we will be shifting Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape Psycho Circus, EDC Orlando & Dreamstate SoCal to 2021 as well. While this year has been full of ups and downs, itā€™s something Iā€™ve found a lot of positivity & excitement in. This extra time to plan is going to allow us to make our 2021 events the best weā€™ve ever had both creatively & logistically. In the meantime, we will of course continue to keep the vibe alive through InsomniacTV with a bunch of new Livestreams & Rave-A-Thons so stay tuned for those announcements. Keep your heads up & letā€™s continue to look out for one another. I see a bright & amazing future ahead and canā€™t wait to be with all of you on the dancefloor once again! ā¤ļø
