When Porter Robinson thinks back to his collaboration with Madeon “Shelter,” he thinks back to the Daft Punk and Beatles posters, Bamboo garden, and all around good vibes, that inspired him to create that song within Madeon’s studio. What the two also discussed in the Triple J interview had to do with how secretive they had to be when planning it out.
When asked about the extreme secrecy of their tour, the two mentioned that they didn’t want to create a giant amount of hype with previews or pictures or vague statuses- they wanted to just put their work out and let people experience it.
