Pretty Lights knows how to keep us guessing, but the reason behind this mystery is to provoke some thought. You may have seen the hip hop and electronic artist on Instagram and Twitter posting Stanley Kubrick quotes and linking you to a website with a rather mysterious sequence, all of these relating to a cassette tape. Whatever is revealed will surely be an interesting look into what Derek Vincent Smith is going to do to solve the need for a musical entity more creative than “releasing” an “album”
