Coming off his most successful year since “Okay” which took the world by storm in 2014, Shiba San continues his barrage of global live appearances into 2019 by announcing his next run of dates titled “Parlez-Vous Français” with support from fellow Parisian and his label, Basement Leak’s rising star, Tim Baresko. All tickets go on-sale Friday, January 11th at 10am local time. Tickets will be available at shibasan.com.
“I’m very excited to announce my spring tour with one of my best friends and collaborator, Tim Baresko. We played a few shows together last year and knew we had to do a full tour. Each show is going to be a party – we can’t wait to get this tour started and show you the new music we’ve been working on.” – Shiba San
Last October, Shiba San and Tim Baresko released their second collab, “All I Need” via DFTD Records. The song dominated Beatport’s overall chart at the #1 position for over a month, landed on multiple ‘Best of 2018’ lists, and earned support from influential tastemakers, such as Pete Tong, Calvin Harris, Jack Back (David Guetta), as well as many others.
2018 was Shiba San’s busiest year yet, with tours in North America, South America, Europe, Australia and Asia, and a string of releases including the Off To Funk EP on Relief Records, the Don’t Talk EP, Shiba’s funky return to Dirtybird, the Excluded EP on KalukiMusik, an official remix of Billy Idol’s “Don’t Need A Gun” on Vital Idol: Revitalized, the Downtown EP on Solä Records and Your Mind EP with Kevin Knapp and Flashmob on Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars.
Tim Baresko has been creating his own moment with plenty of strong international touring and a slew of impressive releases, including the 2018 singles “Obsession” and a remix of Black V Neck’s “Let Me Smash” both released on Shiba San’s label Basement Leak. Tim’s December remix to Mercer’s “Monte Carlo” has ascended the Beatport charts over the New Year and the rest of his 2018 releases found a home on prestigious labels such as Cajual, Toolroom, Bedrock & Defected.
This is only the beginning of what is sure to be another massive year for the Parisian producers.
