What does this mean? That is the questions fans have been asking ever since The Weeknd posted a photo of him and Calvin Harris having what looks like a few beers or drinks together. He captioned it, “don’t get too confused…” which is so vague that we don’t know how to interpret it. Don’t get confused about what? Do they have something in the works coming up? Or does he not want fans to get confused about a hidden meaning, and they really just are hanging out?
Both artists have had some awesome collaborations in the past. Calvin Harris has gotten together with artists such as Rihanna, Ne-Yo, and Kelis. The Weeknd has joined forces with Future, Drake, and Lana del Rey. And, these two have not collaborated with each other, yet. This means that working up something new in these pandemic times would not be out of the question. See the Instagram post below
Calvin Harris posted this song on his Instagram story, and it seems to add to the speculation. The Weeknd did a live stream on TikTok recently, and the song is the same as the one that Calvin Harris had on his story. The clues all seem to be pointing to a collaboration. We’ll just need to wait and for the confirmation. According to @NewsWeeknd, the song even has a name, “Over Now.” See the tweet below.
