One of the shared experiences among music lovers of all genres is anxiously waiting for a group or a duo to reunite. Rock fans had to wait over 20 years to see Guns N Roses tour again, while the return of Swedish House Mafia has become something of a semiannual story that still hasn’t come to fruition. With that in mind, there’s hope for the possibility of a TNGHT reunion. Twitter user and presumably TNGHT fan tweeted at the duo asking for any sign of them coming back together including retweeting her message. Her message was retweeted by the official account, with no other statement coming from them. We don’t know whether this means it’s official, but the 2013 festival goer inside us is doing backflips in excitement.
Northern Bass festival, New Zealand’s premiere end-of-year dance music party, released their phase 1 lineup not too long ago which features both Hudson Mohawke & Lunice on the lineup. Could we see a surprise TNGHT reunion during one of their sets? We’ll find out this December or sooner.
