Many may have been expecting refunds for their tickets to this year’s Ultra Miami due to their recent cancellation because of the Coronavirus, but the organizers thought of a different way to pay back their fans. Instead of direct payment, fans can expect a free ticket to the event next year or in 2022, but you have 30 days to decide With this free ticket, Ultra plans to add value for those who missed out on a monumental experience on short notice. Some of those benefits include an exclusive set from one of the headliners of the year, and the chance to grab up to two additional tickets for these events through an exclusive presale. As great as these and more benefits are, many people are upset at the fact that there’s no option to simply get their money back:
@ultra you really think people can decide if they can go in 2021 or 2022 in the next 30 days?!? Insane

Damn @ultra really said “fuck your refund, here’s a ticket for a future festival and some “benefits” that will ultimately make us more money” ok then

I cannot believe that ultra is not giving us a refund!!!!

The argument has a strong point; though a free ticket to another Ultra event is great…the perk is really only good for international travelers. Ironically, Ultra promoter has no additional Worldwide or Resistance events in the U.S. not only that…but it’d be nice to have more than just one exclusive hour in the new year.
Ultra plans to create a streaming experience for all fans in place of the festival. Stay tuned and let us know what you think on Twitter @GlobaldanceGDE. Feel free to leave a comment on your thoughts below!
