Conan O’Brien steps into some secret territory as he tried to enter the most exclusive club in the world, the historic German venue, Berghain. While he tried to exemplify himself as someone cool enough to get in, he makes quickly rejected even before setting foot near the doors.
Although it was quite different to see this in a comedic sense through Conan, The Black Madonna commented, “turning a space like this into a comedy spectacle for a largely straight American audience with no context other than the club being private and gay is a problem.” The initial underground environment did not want the exposure Conan was giving out, stopping any further entrances.
