The Weeknd has fans excited with his most recent Instagram post reveal. The post, put up around 4pm PST, features a picture of Gesaffelstein and the caption “me and this dude got another one 🔥.”
For those are unfamiliar, Gesaffelstein is a French techno artist and DJ. He has collaborations with many big name artists out there, such as Kanye West, Lana del Rey, Tiga, and A$AP Rocky. He’s also played countless HARD festivals over the years.
This is not his first creation with The Weeknd. The Canadian singer came out with an EP this spring titled My Dear Melancholy, and filled collaboration with various electronic guests. Two of those tracks, “Hurt You” and “I Was Never There” featured Gesaffelstein. The collaborations were a perfect blend of the smooth R&B sounds that we all have come to know and love from The Weeknd with the talents and elevation of electronic music. The EP also had collaborations with other big names, such as Skrillex, making it a debut of its kind for the R&B singer.
And now, we have something new to look forward to. We can only guess what this new track will entail. Based on the their prior collaborations, everyone is excited for what is sure to be, to use the artist’s way to describe it, 🔥.
