Dance music is not looking so good for Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Buenos Aires government recently announced that it will no longer be approving permits for major electronic music festivals. This news comes after a report of five deaths at Time Warp Argentina. The Mayor of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodriguez Larrea said the ban would stay in effect “until a new law is created to prevent drug abuse at live music events and festivals.”

Which route will the nation take to spread awareness, prevent drug issues, and create a safe environment? Insomniac events honorable Ground Control makes sure everyone is in good hands and being cared for, as well the Rave Act, another approach from the South American Government.

As of now, it is unknown how long the legislation process will take, but we all hope, for the sake of the music, they find a way to bounce back.
