Danny Peck has been experimenting with music for over 3 decades. Carefully tinkering and curating a sound unique to his own life experiences. He naturally bridged his profession as a software programmer with his affinity for experimental electronic dance music. Recently, he’s released his latest LP Where Hope Goes, Fear Follows. A culmination of decades of experimenting have lead to this 10-track sonic discography that leaves listeners a yearning for more. A post rock take with electronic elements and compositions that will leave you in absolute awe. This entire album could easily be the music score to a thrilling, Sci-Fi film.

“I’ve spent the better part of the last 3 decades making music in one form or another. I started experimenting in the 90s, fiddling around with trackers in MS-DOS before I started using notation software in Windows. I moved on from tracker-driven music making software. For me, this was the key. Tracker sequencers, I realized, forced me into a rigid grid, stifling my creativity, and forcing me down the same path with each song again and again. Everything I made, to me largely sounded and felt the same. I needed a change.”

Danny Peck is currently producing music under his given name, however, you may recognize his other other work as dep, A Defiant Heart. This new direction releasing music under his given name has been a nod to how therapeutic music production has been for him. After years of releases under different monikers, the music being released under Danny Peck is yet another chapter in his life. A time to start anew and strip away the masks as he put its.
