Insomniac’s Valentine’s Day festival, CRUSH, has been canceled.

The festival was set to have artists such as Audien, Rossy, and JSHMR. The three locations – Arizona, Southern California, and San Francisco – had their cancellation announced today. Emails were sent out today to ticket purchasers from Front Gate, notifying them of the change of plans.

The email stated the cause as “unforeseen circumstances,”  which has people speculating whether it had to do with ticket sales or if the pandemic is rearing its ugly head again and causing the cancellation. The ticketing pages for all three events have been updated – you can no longer purchase tickets to the festival and the event is marked as canceled.

Those who had purchased passes should receive a refund that will be automatically made to the card they used in the transaction. Refunds from Front Gate will reportedly take 7-10 business days, while SeeTickets stated in their email that refunds will be processed in 5-7 business days. No other statement has been made from Insomniac about the festival’s cancellation.

Let’s hope this doesn’t start a string of cancellations in 2022.
