Originally tagging his tracks as “Future House” on Soundcloud as a joke, French DJ/producer Tchami unintentionally fathered the genre. Lending a progressive edge to House, Future House’s deep bass, soulful melodies and ripping synths can now commonly be heard infiltrating throughout festival and club scenes. Other producers such as Bixel Boys, Motez and most noteworthy, Oliver Heldens were quick to adopt the sound.
