After confirming Astroworld‘s release date, dropping a teaser video and sharing its cover artwork, Travis Scott has released his highly-anticipated new album. The 17-track LP has guest features from the likes of Frank Ocean and Drake. Astroworld, released via Grand Hustle Records, Epic Records and Cactus Jack Records, succeeds the release of the Houston rapper’s 2016 album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight as well as his collaborative album with Migos member Quavo, Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho. Astroworld led single “Watch” features Kanye West and Lil Uzi Vert. The title of the album was announced all the way back in May 2016, and the album was initially teased for a 2017 release. Its title is named after Houston’s closed-down theme park Six Flags AstroWorld. The cover was shot by photographer David LaChapelle and features a giant golden inflatable of Scott’s head as the park. A second cover features the same amusement park entrance at nighttime, with family-friendly features replaced with adult-themed content.

For those in the Los Angeles area, Travis Scott will be performing live at HARD Summer 2018 this weekend as he will play new songs from ‘Astroworld’ for the first time ever in California, which we all know is about to be fucking nuts. See Travis Scott LIVE on Sunday at the HARD Stage from 10PM – 11PM.
