Thirty-three people were arrested, two people were hospitalized and more than 40 stolen cellphones were recovered on the first night of Nocturnal Wonderland 2017 at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in Devore, sheriffâs officials say.
This past weekend in San Bernadino marked the 22nd iteration of Nocturnal Wonderland, with about 16,300 attendees satisfied with their experience. About 40 of those attendees may have been even further over the moon, as their stolen cellphones were returned to them after a second theft ring was busted on the grounds. Just like the Coachella incident of the same nature, people used the Find my iPhone app to track and apprehend the individual responsible; he was quickly detained and arrested.
Law enforcement agencies made 35 arrests Saturday on the second and final day of Nocturnal Wonderland at the Glen Helen Regional Park (formally San Manuel Amphitheater) in San Bernardino.
The San Bernardino County Sheriffâs Department arrested 17 people Saturday on suspicion of miscellaneous drug-related counts, trespassing, and domestic violence, a news release said.
Agents from the state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, working the event with the Sheriffâs Department, made 18 arrests for drug charges.
One person was taken to the hospital for a medical issue, the release said. It didnât say what kind of medical issue or how serious the personâs condition was. Details about the two people hospitalized Friday also were not available.
Sheriffâs officials were encouraging anyone who believed they may have been a victim of cellphone theft to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriffâs Central Station at 655 East 3rd St. in San Bernardino or the Sheriffâs Command Post at the amphitheater.

-this must be a joke right? or just out of huge corporate money-sucking festivals? Because there are so many smaller fests that take much better care of attendees.
