Depending on the videos you saw, Escape Psycho Circus read like an apocalyptic fiasco with fence hopping galore or a beautifully orchestrated affair. Either way, the damage done was a fraction of last year, as only 22 were arrested at the event.

“We had approximately 60 officers assigned to the event each day,” San Bernardino police spokesman Lt. Mike Madden said, “In addition, there were approximately 670 private security personnel hired by the promoter to also be present both days.”

SB Sun reports 86 arrests at last year’s Escape at NOS, for various reasons that were not specified. The hundreds of officers used for the events were utilized in many different locations for many different reasons, none disclosed to the public.

“If any weapons or narcotics packaged for sale were located, PD was to be notified and would respond,” Madden wrote. “Otherwise, the narcotics were tagged in bulk by security personnel.”

There were  also 22 medical calls this past weekend but Madden didn’t go into detail about those incidents.
