One of the most well-known festivals in this country is getting its own documentary. Coachella, the Southern California festival that is known worldwide, is coming on its 21st year. The festival has had iconic acts throughout its two-decade lifespan, including those of Beyoncé, Prince, Paul McCartney, Calvin Harris, Blackpink, and more.

The trailer for the 20-year commemoration of the documentary was released, and the documentary itself will be released in March 2020, a few weeks before the festival.

According to a press statement from YouTube, Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert will feature “exclusive, never-before-seen footage and interviews,” and an inside look into the festival’s beginnings and Coachella performances throughout the past 20 years.

The Coachella 2020 lineup was just released on January 2nd, with Rage Against the Machine, Frank Ocean, and Travis Scott headlining, and other acts including Lana del Rey, Calvin Harris, and Flume. The festival will take place April 10-12 and 17-19 and for the tenth consecutive year, YouTube is partnering with the festival to live stream it for all of those who can’t make it to Indio.
