This morning, Riverside County still was not pushing for Coachella and Stagecoach to be postponed or canceled. That tune may have changed.
According to various sources, Coachella is being postponed until October 2020, giving time for the coronavirus public health concern to have hopefully dissipated. While nothing has been confirmed by Goldenvoice or Riverside County officials, Yashar Ali of New York Magazine/HuffPost said Coachella 2020 will be postponed to the month of October with the same exact lineup.
The same lineup is rumored to be coming back. Hopefully, we get a formal announcement soon, and for those of us who were planning on being there in April, we can start to figure out how to switch travel plans. The Festive Owl also said they can no confirm the festival will, in fact, be held in the month of October.
Billboard also acknowledged the move and recently had this to say on Coachella and Stagecoach moving to the month of October
“It’s not a done deal but organizers should know in about 48 hours if the festivals can be saved, say high-level sources.”
“Organizers hope to know within the next 48 hours if the move is possible. If not, the 2020 versions of Coachella and Stagecoach will likely be canceled.”
We’ll be sure to update everyone

As of now, the same lineup is confirmed to perform.

I can now CONFIRM #Coachella WILL be postponed until October 9th and 16th due to #coronavirus concerns.
Lineup will attempt to remain the same, but moving a festival this size isn’t easy.
They are currently working with artists and an official announcement is in the works. 🦉
