Ultra Music Festival can count as one of the Dance Music Scene’s many “Christmas” like weekends, with producers dropping new songs and surprise collars left and right. Deadmau5 will be known this year for doing something beyond that by revealing his next big live visual project, the Cube 3.0. A 16×9 ft iteration of the cube will stand in front of a wide LED display. Judging by the below Twitch stream, we’d say the guinea pigs at Virginia Key this March are going to be in for a treat. Deadmau5 is also slated to play at the Mau5trap Stage at Beyond Wonderland 2019 this year…and we can only hope that he at least hauls his cute, club-ready “mini-cube” as a consolation for not being able to make it to the other side of the country.
