Yo-Landi Visser probably had more immediate choice words than what she posted on her Instagram following an article on Exclaim! that claimed Die Antwoord was breaking up.
This misinformation was a result of a misunderstanding of what they said would happen on the day their fifth album released: “Die Antwoord dies on that day. It’s all over. I feel beautiful about it. I’m not scared of the end. I’m a Ninja. I’m not scared of death.” Visser clarified that they would do a final album, then release a feature film. The final album does not mean that they will stop performing.
