Longtime friends, Hoj and Lee Burridge, have announced the launch of their new record label, Tale and Tone. The new imprint offers listeners a unique look into the minds of Hoj and Lee Burridge, who are both known to create vibrant dancefloor moments and experiences. In essence, Tale and Tone channels both of label-heads’ experiences in exploring the world of music, whether its chasing destination events that range from dark, daft warehouses or breathtaking events along natural landscapes; and bridges the experience into a thriving showcase for dance music.

“Lee and I are great friends and have been talking about starting a new project together for a long time. As DJs, we play a huge range of music in any given set, and we wanted to start a label that was less about a specific sound and more about showcasing great songs that we love to play – songs with story and groove. Tale and Tone features the music Lee and I would play in a back-to-back set. And the music we imagine playing at our dream night time ball.” – Hoj

Tale and Tone’s first EP is properly titled The Storybook that will also start with a full vinyl release out now with the digital copies to follow. The EP is composed of music from the calm, emotional, and groovy minds of Daso, Lutz, Lost Desert, Amari, Dance Spirit, Newman, and Lukkif.
