Las Vegas’s Route 91 Festival is still a crime scene to this day; several belongings are still being reunited with their owners, and several individuals are being treated for physical AND mental injuries because of what happened. In light of all this, the city’s medical facilities and community programs are banding together to heal in the most efficient way possible. To aid in the recovery, Diplo proposed a challenge to DJs, especially those who find themselves spinning at these clubs most often:
I donated $100,000 this weekend to the victims in Las Vegas. I challenge any other Dj’s or hotel owners to match it we owe it to the city 💛 pic.twitter.com/6LyQFEK4eA

Many were quick to respond, with Tiësto upping the ante even more and Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Valentino Khan, and Dillon Francis all donating:
Count me in @diplo #VegasStrong https://t.co/sz6InUadSl

Time will be the ultimate factor in the healing process from one of the worst mass shootings in US history, but these financial contributions from people who have gained success from this very city will help speed things up.
