Logic’s got an exciting new surprise in store for us come Friday, and it involves a crossover with the EDM universe. Marshmello stepped into the studio with the rapper to craft their new single “Everyday, which was announced via Twitter yesterday. Logic has been on a purple patch as of late, releasing two back to back singles “44 More” and “Overnight” this year already. The former of the two releases have the same art as this upcoming one, meaning we may see an album in our future from Logic.

When you think of Logic, you usually think of bars. The rapper is one of the most lyrical cats out there, and this announcement could mean a departure from the sound that we’ve grown accustomed to from Logic. Marshmello has previously worked with Khalid and Lil Peep, creating two bangers that stuck to the featured artists’ traditional sounds while getting a dancier push. We can possibly see a similar direction on “Everyday” with Logic spitting some fire over a future bass instrumental. Whatever is to come in the future, we’re very excited to hear what Logic and Marshmello concocted together. Tune in with us TONIGHT when it officially drops!
