Downtown Alhambra will welcome back Mainfest for its second year in a row. Although the Greater Los Angeles area and Southern California in general, is spoiled with a plethora of music festival, Mainfest made its stand out debut last year as well-organized event with smashing headliners such as LA dance-pop duo Capital Cities, Australian indie dance group Miami Horror, and Dam-Funk X Nite-Jewels’ funky collaborative super-pact, Nite-Funk. The festival was the first of its kind to be produced and hosted on Downtown Alhambra’s iconic Main Street, which drew several thousand people to the experience.

For its second annual return, Mainfest will be hosting another indie-rock-inspired, dance music lineup including Canadian electronic music duo, Purity Ring; Texan electronic rock pair, Ghostland Observatory; New Zealand’s indie pop Broods; Los Angeles’ very own Classixx, ‘Daytime Disco’ champions, Poolside; and many others. Similar to last year, a second smaller stage should be present again this year with a bill TBA of local electronic groups and jam bands. Attendees can expect a similar set up to last year’s festival amenities, complete with an exclusive beer garden for the 21+ crowd, live art installations, elaborate food selections and trendy food trucks, as well as a huge support from local businesses dedicated to the effervescent aesthetic that makes Downtown Alhambra the vibrant community it is today..
