Sadly enough, the harsh conditions that have plagued certain festivals we don’t need to mention again are still in effect as the risk of harsh precipitation from Hurricane Patricia have led promoters to cancel Something Wicked in Houston, “The decision is based upon the recommendation of experts, local authorities and the National Weather Service.” Those looking to see DJ Snake and Above & Beyond among many other acts slated for that day are out of luck.

While the winds roll on for today, tomorrows forecast is looking less bleak with showers that night predicted to be more intermittent.

Dear fans,

Weather reports have indicated that rainfall and flooding will continue in Harris County throughout the night and into the morning. Numerous road closures due to flooding have been reported, with more anticipated. The safety of our patrons continues to be our number one priority.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will announce no later than 10am CDT Sunday morning, whether the venue will be open for DAY 2.
Please stay tuned for more information. We will inform you as soon as a decision has been made.
