Stagecoach really outdid themselves this year, with arrests. The stigma towards music festivals and drug use is still standing yet no one talks about country music and how “rowdy” it really gets. This year the amount of people arrested were almost the same as each weekend of arrests at Coachella. 157 people were arrested at Stagecoach and 138 of the arrests were related to alcohol and “using a fake ID to purchase alcohol as a minor, furnishing alcohol to a minor and selling a fake ID to a minor.”
There were 128 arrests during weekend one at Coachella and 142 arrests during weekend two. This is not uncommon for Stagecoach. “Only four arrests were not alcohol-related: one for obstructing a peace officer, one for theft by false pretenses and two for vehicle code violations, police said.”
