Many a person has suffered from slipping on an already thrown cake at a club, but nobody has spoken out about it. Representing the thousands of people who face such an atrocity, Raymond Collins is suing Steve Aoki for throwing a cake in the club and causing him to slip and hit his head. The charges include “mental suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, and lost income.” Considering this is the second time Aoki has been sued for this, a less slippery substance to throw at the crowd may be a better solution for his shows going forward. Maybe hard candy?
Raymond Collins says Aoki’s flying pastry during a March set at Hakkasan made him bite it so hard he sustained a serious head injury. In the suit, he says he literally did a slip and fall on the cake after it landed on the ground.
