Swedish House Mafia had some change last month, splitting with both their manager Ron Laffitte and Columbia Records. They have now filled the manager position, signing with none other than Sal Slaiby, the manager for The Weeknd.
Wassim “Sal” Slaiby has made a name for himself in the industry. He was named 2020’s manager of the year by Variety and represents not only The Weekend and now Swedish House Mafia, but other well-known clientele, such as French Montana and Ty Dolla $ign.
Slaiby is the third manager for Swedish House Mafia in the last decade. The trio still does not have a new label, but it seems only a matter of time until that changes as well. They were in the studio together in February and seem to have something in the works for their next reunion phase.
