Tiëstoo set the dance music world aflame by retweeting a short preview of “5 Seconds Till Sunrise,” from a new project called VER:WEST. Though he hasn’t specifically announced that this is his alias…plenty of clues point to the fact that it’s him. For starters, the name VER:WEST is the exact spelling of his real last name, Verwest. The name itself is also styled in the same fashion as the DJ’s label AFTR:HRS. The track teased in the preview, which Shazam identifies as “5 Seconds Before Sunrise,” was played earlier this year at Tiësto’s Reconnected | Beatport Live set. The song title itself also calls to one of Tiësto’s classic track “Ten Seconds Before Sunrise” off his 2007 “Elements Of Life” album. So this may be the sequel to the very same track.

The last time we heard anything Trance from Tiësto was back in 2013 when he released “iTrance” with the Disco Fries that had people really questioning if he was back for good or not? After years of playing the mainstage and his OG fans calling him to return to Trance, it looks like the call for the melodic progressive sound that brought him to legendary status has finally been answered.

The Beatport pre-order link for the song is down, but according to the screenshot, the track will be out on the 17th. Till then, listen to a preview of the upcoming track.
