Zensa Records ring leader, Al Sharif, is dropping tune after tune in an relentless fashion. This time he enlists Diego Antoine, the prolific Chilean DJ/Producer, in the brand release, ‘My Mind’. It further displays Zensa Records and ultimately Al Sharif’s own love for his style of house music: groovy, vibrant, and dashes of soul (okay a lot of soul). It explores themes of zen, obviously highlighted in the song’s cover art and vocal samples.
‘My Mind’ draws heavily on the influences of Buddhism. A peaceful progression and build up leads into continuous chant of the song’s title until a heavenly drop descends into a house groove unlike any other. It’s the perfect dance floor stomper that reignites the energy of the crowd after a peaceful buildup.
