If new material isn’t a mystery at first, it just ain’t worth it. Just outside the realm of Dance Music, Rage Against the Machine has been cooking up excitement by sharing a special link via poster that echoes the lyrics of a public enemy song. To block any though that it’s just a coincidence, Chuck D himself tweeted videos of the band playing live around the same time, indicating something new is in the works. It’s now being reported that Prophets of Rage is a supergroup featuring members of Rage Against the Machine (minus Zack de la Rocha), Public Enemy, and Cypress Hill. We’re stoked to see how these influential forces will come together to deliver a new message and offer the chance to witness them live.
