Electronic supergroup Above & Beyond have shared details of their highly anticipated 2016 acoustic album and tour. The album is set for release in the spring of 2016 and will be supported by a tour across three continents encompassing plays in some of the most prestigious music venues in the world, including the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Sydney Opera House and London’s Royal Albert Hall, with further stops planned at The Chicago Theatre, Massey Hall in Toronto, The Wang in Boston, New York’s Beacon Theatre, Berkeley, CA’s Greek Theatre and Waikiki Shell in Honolulu, Hawaii. “We had so much fun doing the first run of acoustic shows and it was really the reaction from our fans that convinced us to tour it more extensively. We’ve ticked some pretty impressive venue boxes with this tour–somebody pinch us!” 

In their most recent promo video (watch below) Above & Beyond–Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, Paavo Siljamäki–teased new material from the forthcoming acoustic album with a downtempo interpretation of festival anthem “Hello.” The new album–simply titled Acoustic II–is a follow-up to the iTunes dance chart-topping 2014 album Acoustic and will once again be produced in collaboration with producer Bob Bradley.

Above & Beyond’s acoustic project began in 2013 with a short run of shows including London’s Porchester Hall and a two-night sold out run at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre. With Paavo Siljamäki on grand piano, Jono Grant on Rhodes and Tony McGuinness on guitars and vocals, the trio performed as part of a 15-piece band alongside vocalists Zoë Johnston, Annie Drury and Alex Vargas for what Billboard magazine described as “…one of the finest shows in dance music history.”
