Calvin Harris is having a smashing week, having announced his tenure (so-to-speak) at Hakkasan Group residency in Las Vegas will be lasting until the year 2020 for the price of £200 million (approximately $280 million USD). The platinum-selling artist will continue to play at a number of Las Vegas’ premier nightlife and daylife destinations including, OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace, and Hakkasan Nightclub and WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand.

Harris makes roughly $1 million per show, meaning he will be one of the highest paid DJs in sin city for…well, a while. He is expected to play his first set March 9th at Omnia for the club’s 3rd birthday and continue with a show every week. As you can probably imagine, Harris is well on his way to placing high on the top-earning DJs list in Forbes again…and again…and again.

Speaking about the ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1’ stars residency, Nick McCabe, CEO of Hakkasan Group, said, “We are pleased to extend our partnership with Calvin as he has become an integral part of our artist roster since his debut in 2013.

“To have an artist of his caliber performing regularly in our venues, allows us to continue our mission of creating extraordinary experiences and providing our guests access to the world’s greatest talent.”
