The news is officially in, and it seems like another two festivals have bitten the dust.

Coachella and Stagecoach, the two festivals that occur over three weekends of April in Indio, California, have been postponed due to coronavirus fears.

While rumors have been swirling around since last night, the nail was not officially in the coffin until Goldenvoice released an official statement a few minutes ago. In it, they stated that at the direction of Riverside County health authorities, they are postponing the festival until October. Coachella will now be October 9-11 and  October 16-18, 2020, while Stagecoach will be October 23-25, 2020. Goldenvoice is honoring all purchases for the April dates for October. For those who can no longer attend and are looking for a refund, an official announcement is going to be made on Friday, March 13 on how to do so. Reportedly, they are going to try and keep the same lineup that was supposed to be there this April, although we have no word on that yet.

This is the best festival postponement we have had thus far, since we still get the festivals in the fall instead of having to wait until 2021. 2020 will be the year of Fallchella.
