Ever party at a mental asylum? The folks at Defected are here to give you just that opportunity; on June 27th, the label returns to The Old Newsham Park Hospital in Liverpool. The Gothic building which looms over the stunning Newsham Park was originally built in the 1800s and throughout its history has served as an orphanage and psychiatric hospital with its more recent incarnation lending itself to the ideal clubbing backdrop.
Though it’s been two years since the label last touched down upon this particular venue, they are known for making their takeovers special. This year has a star-studded lineup for the occasion with Claptone, Purple Disco Machine, Sam Divine, Roberto Surace, Ferreck Dawn, CDC, and Dom Townsend all slated to play.
