Dua Lipa teams up with her self proclaimed idols Missy Elliot and Madonna for a new remix of her single “Levitating.” The track was released with her album Future Nostalgia in March, and although all the artists could do was host a stay at home stream party for it, the 11 song release still gained a buzz with fans. Today, she confirmed rumors that she was collaborating with Madonna and gave us two better: in addition to the pop idol and Missy Elliot dropping verses on the song, The Blessed Madonna (formally The Black Madonna) produced the track.
It was announced last month by Dua’s managers in an interview that they had reached out to Madonna for a potential collaboration, and it looks like Madonna replied to that email! It’s not the first big collab for the Queen of Pop, who has previously collaborated with the likes of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Madonna is of course no stranger to the Official Chart, with more Number 1 singles and albums than any other female artist in history.
Fans can look forward to the full release on August 14th.
